Week 2 - Introduction to drawing

I did some contour drawing by pencil. I found it quite interesting because I have no idea what I am going to get.

I did some Modified contour drawing with 90% of drawing and 10% of checking my progress. It looks more make sense but still crazy.

I back up the background with charcoals and try to make a contour drawing on it. The background surely adds some layers of the picture.

I did some drawing that focus on the structure of the objects like this lamp.

With the cup, I tried to draw the shadow of it. but I found it quite hard to depict. and the top of the cup is also pretty hard to draw. I would say that maybe I need to observe the object first rather than rush to draw it.
